Depois do sucesso da primeira edição em 2009, a Beit Israel orgulha-se de ser o organizador em Portugal da iniciativa Mitzvah Day 2010. O Mitzvah Day envolve milhares de voluntários em mais de quarenta cidades à volta do mundo em iniciativas de solidariedade social.

O Mitzvah Day está aberto a voluntários ou instituições de apoio social independentemente da sua filiação religiosa ou secular. A iniciativa vai desde da doação de sangue, a trabalho voluntário ou actividades para a juventude e terceira idade.

O Mitzvah day está ligado à noção de Tikkun Olam “consertar o mundo”, o mundo não se conserta num dia, mas podemos pelo menos dar-lhe uma mão. Não fique aí! Contacte a Beit Israel e junte-se a nós!

After a successful first edition in 2009, Beit Israel is proud to be the organizer in Portugal of Mizvah Day 2010. Mitzvah Day involves thousands of volunteers in more than fifty cities around the World who engage in solidarity initiatives.

Mitzvah Day is open to volunteers and institutions regardless of their religious or secular affiliation. The initiative encompasses everything from blood donations, to volunteer work or activities in youth and retirement centers.
